A quick post this on Ecwid, an online store 'plugin' that I reviewed recently. Ecwid has always offered an easy way to add e-commerce to a Wordpress site (or indeed any site - Ecwid just gives you some code that you can copy and paste into any page where you want your producst to appear) but the latest news on the block is that Wordpress and Ecwid have become a lot more tightly integrated, making it significantly easier to use Ecwid in and sell products direct from a Wordpress site.

Before you can start selling, you'll need to get an Ecwid account, and you'll also need to be using a Wordpress Business account. Assuming you have both, you'll then be able to use a new drop-down menu in Wordpress ('commerce menu') to configure your store.
